I suppose I haven't posted in awhile on here. Well, I have moved to Roosevelt to a lovely farmhouse with easily twice the room as my old house. I have a greenhouse, a stream running through my backyard with a little bridge over it. Old growth Willow trees, white picket fence, barns, and three acres with water shares. I plan on planting a gigantic garden, and keeping goats and chickens. Right now I am sitting in my lovely sewing room/office. The whole house is themed around being extremely functional. This is a change from everywhere else I have ever lived. It is so convenient. There were so many tiny things that would bother me in the other places that I lived that I only noticed when they were gone. The kids and the puppy enjoy the property quite a bit, and so does Seth. The kids have a playroom now, and can play in the yard without me worrying about them getting hit by cars or eaten by cougars. That isn't a joke, last summer, in Dry Fork we had 3 cougar sightings in our backyard. So that is a nice change. I also have a large art studio that is separate from the house. We plan on putting a kiln and a pottery wheel in it as well as the oil painting stuff, and lots of shelves for drying and storing the projects. There is also some things for Seth on the property. There is a huge workshop area by the art studio that I call the Mancave, and a sunken entertainment room that he is setting up a projector screen, and surround sound and all that stuff. This is also a mancave I think.

Here is Bean, dancing on our table at the new house.
I will post more pictures when I find the camera.

Kids gone wild

This is just a picture blog of my mom's house from the kids point of view. They have lots of fun, taking pictures with the camera.

Hedgehog?

So while I was staying at my mom's for the last three weeks, Logan managed to hack most of Chloe's hair off. So, she has a cute short haircut now. I made a happy discovery the other day. This is what happens when I have too much coffee.

Yay! A hedgehog!

Zombie style

Today I spent at my mom's. We had left the little girls, Kaylee and Chloe in the bedroom watching Dora the Explorer. I peeked back in on them after a little bit. The girls had done up their faces in purple(gothic purple) lipstick or eyeshadow?, and had drawn in their eyebrows and foreheads with mascara. Chloe pipes up, "We're Zombies!"

Perhaps this artwork is a warning. "Beware of Zombie toddlers carrying loud makeup."

Her little zombie butt was hiding under a desk for this picture.

Logan has been playing with a basketball since he got here this morning. He has all sorts of tricks for it; spins, special ways to hold it, special ways to kick it. Every time he kicks it across the room, he says he wins. I am waiting for him to bop G.G with it. It's only a matter of time...

Audryana made me a queen mouse. She wants to hang it from the tree. It really is quite cool. Now we are going to do homework.

Lazy day

Today and last night, I spent it at my house. This is a big deal because for the last 3 weeks, I have been staying at my mom's house. So last night, we unpacked the projector and screen and fiddled with it until we got it set up-sorta, and watched our first movie on the big screen. It isn't set up the way we would like, because we still have to mount it to the ceiling, but it was special because I was able to come home. Today, I was served breakfast in bed, and spoiled. Sometime, we are going to get down to business and put up the tree. So far, we have just been hanging out, cuddling and watching movies. I suppose that is ok too.
